My responsibilities are, Network Installations, maintenance, Installations of mail, dns and proxy servers (Linux and Windows operating systems) as well as the core Cisco routers and switches. The need of speed and low latencies are on a high importance due to the emerging of new technologies and application packages. We have two types of connections to the internet, one via the seacom fiber optic cable and the other ones through VSAT.
